The Ergastirion of Systemic Thinking and Training (associated member of the EFTA-TIC) has the pleasure to invite you to the “2^nd INTERACTIVE SYMPOSIUM IN SYSTEMIC PSYCHOTHERAPY” themed “Searching for the Unpredictable in Psychotherapy”, that will take place on 1-2 November 2014 in Heraklion, Crete (Astoria Hotel) .

While unpredictability is an integral part of life, in common sense and in classical science the prevailing beliefs rest on predictability and control. Τhere is perhaps no coincidence that a large part of the problems that people bring to therapy is associated with loss of control (feelings , thoughts, behaviors).

 The purpose of the symposium is to approximate as closely as possible the fragile balance in life between certainty and uncertainty, stagnation and progress, stability and instability.

The symposium is organized with international participation and will include presentations as well as interactive workshops from the most distinguished Greek and foreign instructors in Systemic Psychotherapy, members of the European Family Therapy Association – Training Institute Chamber.

The Symposium is aimed to psychologists, teachers, anthropologists, sociologists, students of psychology and education departments, and anyone who is interested in human development and relationships between people.

If you are interested in contributing actively to the scientific debate and to participate in the “2nd Interactive Symposium on Systemic Psychotherapy themed ‘Searching for Unpredictability in Psychotherapy” with oral or poster presentation, you should send your resumes electronically to the secretariat of the symposium until 15/09/2014

For typing the text, use Microsoft Word program, font size 11. The title of the work refers to the top in capital letters and follow the authors’ names in lowercase. The structure of the text is free, while the extent of proposed not to exceed 250 words. When submitting abstracts at least one of the authors must be registered in the symposium.
